

Gabriella has worked at the intersection of journalism, content, and film for over 15 years. After completing a BA in Theatre and Performance with a major in English Literature at the University of Cape Town, she produced and directed various plays, worked as an arts journalist for Between 10 and 5 and Cape Town TV, alongside ghostwriting for B2B clients and directing short films.
Her debut feature, a neo-noir, is currently in development with the Department of Special Projects. Gabriella is writing the screenplay from an original story by director-cinematographer Meekaaeel Adam, with whom she will co-direct.

She is also the founder of Storylead Studio, a B2B content agency, and the co-founder of Iridescent Pictures, a narrative film company. Gabriella holds Austrian and South African citizenship.
